Adventures at the Science Center: Middle School Girls

At work today, this one girl came up to me and said, “What is this?” I said ,”They’re space suits, you can try them on.” She gave me one of the coldest looks I’ve ever seen and said in the bitchiest voice I’ve ever heard from a 13 year old girl “Do I look like I want to try on a spacesuit?” and spun around and walked away.

Needless to say ten minutes later she was wearing a space suit.

We have been here for 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago.
In that time, we have destroyed more than 50% of the world’s forests.
